Kolumbien – Cartagena

Endlich geschafft. Ich bin in Suedamerika. Vorher galt es aber noch die raue See zwischen Panama und Kolumbien zu bezwingen ;-) Gleich nach Ankunft im Hostel Wunderbar in Puerto Lindo (Panama) hat mir Silvia gebeichtet, dass das Boot, welches ich am 17. nehmen wollte, schon ausgebucht ist. Im Klartext hiess das.. 5 Tage warten, mitten im Nirgendwo im Jungle. Die naechste Stadt Colòn 2 Stunden entfernt und so gefaehrlich, dass alle davor warnten dort hin zu fahren, von Bruellaffen geweckt werden und mit hunderten Ameisen, Fliegen, Mosquitos und was dort noch so alles rumgekrabbelt ist fruehstuecken und zu Abend essen. Zum Glueck waren dort noch die zwei Canadier (Nigel und James). Die anderen sind erst ein bis zwei Tage vorher eingetroffen. So haben wir bis zum 21.11.08 die Zeit mit Billard spielen, Videos und viel schlafen totgeschlagen. Dann war es endlich soweit. Die Crew: Marc el capitan, seine Frau Paola, 7 Maenner, 1 Frau, ein Motorrad und ein Hund :-) Alles in allem eine super Truppe, mit der man Spass haben konnte. Bis wir aufs Boot sind, war ich eigentlich noch ganz guter Hoffnung vielleicht doch (trotz schlechter Schiffschaukelerfahrungen in diversen Vergnuegungsparks) seetauglich zu sein. Von wegen Banane. Die erste Stunde nach Abfahrt, sass ich wie ein Haeufchen Elend an der Rehling und war ausschliesslich damit beschaeftigt, den Fischen nichts zu Essen geben zu wollen ;-) Dann habe ich es nicht mehr ausgehalten und doch eine Tablette gegen Seekrankheit genommen. Gabriel und Alessya hatten da weniger Glueck. Das Wetter hat leider nicht so gut mitgespielt und so haben Wind und teilweise auch Regen die Wellen fier diese Region ungewoehnlich hoch werden lassen. Die Wellen auf dem offenen Meer sind anders. Sie waren zwar nicht sehr hoch aber bedrohlich wirken sie schon, wenn sie sich wie eine riesige Wand aus Wasser auf einen zubewegen, das kleine gerade mal 10-12 Meter lange Seegelboot in die Hoehe tragen und wieder in die Tiefe reissen, nur um es der naechsten Welle zu uebergeben. Abends dann die Belohnung fuer die Strapazen der ersten Etappe. Am Horizont tauchten die ersten San Blas Inseln ( http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kuna_Yala ) auf. Begleitet von zwei Delphinen sind wir vorbei ein unzaehligen kleinen Inseln zu unserer ersten Anlegestelle gefahren. Die naechsten zwei Tage waren sehr relaxed. Schnorcheln und ein paar Landgaenge. Die See zwischen den Inseln war zum Glueck sehr ruhig, da die Inseln durch Riffe geschuetzt sind. So konnte ich die zwei Tage auch geniessen. Am 4. Tag sind wir frueh morgens aufgebrochen. Auf dem Hinweg sind wir noch in Sichtkontakt zur Kueste gefahren, jetzt aber ging es raus aufs mehr und da der Himmel immer weiter zu zog und in der Ferne ein Gewitter zu erkennen war habe ich diesmal vorgesorgt und gleich Tabletten geschluckt. Troztdem habe ich von der Fahrt nicht viel gehabt. Liegend ging es mir einigermassen gut und so bin ich hoechstens zum Essen, Trinken und um auf die Toillette zu gehen aufgestanden. Wieder an Land, habe ich 2 Tage gebraucht, um das Schaukelnde gefuehl vom Boot loszuwerden :-) Seemann werde ich wohl nie, nichtsdestotrotz eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich nicht missen moechte.
Tja, und so sitze ich jetzt in Cartagena (Kolumien), inmitten der wunderschoenen Altstatt. Die letzten zwei Tage bin ich zusammen mit Gabriel (aus Chicago), Monty (aus London) und Irene (aus Cartagena) um die Haeser gezogen :-) Mein naechstes Ziel ist Peru, dort bekomme ich naemlich ueber Weihnachten und Neujahr Besuch aus Deutschland, von wem verrate ich noch nicht :-) Morgen geht es also schon wieder weiter. Wie es aussieht, werde ich den vor mir liegenden Weg zu Lande (Bus), zu Wassser (Amazonas) und in der Luft (Flugzeug) zuruecklegen. Ca. 3 Wochen werde ich dafuer brauchen, denn Suedamerika ist ein anderes Kaliber wie Zentralamerika. Die Distanzen, die man hier zu ueberwinden hat sind gewaltig…….

    Andreas raucht gerade auf der Terasse eine Zigarette, während ich ihm deine Reiseberrichte vorlese. Er genießt es :-)
    Du schreibst sehr eindrücklich und lebendig und es macht Spaß deinen Worten zu folgen.
    Ich denke wir sind jedes mal kurz davor unsere Koffer zu packen und dich zu besuchen. Man bekommt echt übel Fernweh…wir vermissen dich auch sehr und wir würden sehr sehr gerne das ein oder andere Abenteuer mit dir erleben.

    Bei uns ist es mittlerweile extrem kalt geworden. Andi hat gestern mit ein paar richtig harten Männern draußen im Schnee geschlafen: Wildromantik unter Cowboys :-)
    Wir verbringen oft die Zeit abends auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt mit einem Glühwein und wir haben auf dem Karlsplatz die erste Eislaufbahn Freiburgs openair!
    Meine Pläne haben sich ziemlich verändert. Ich möchte nochmal studieren. Keine Lust auf Jobprostitution für den Rest meines Lebens. Möchte einen Aufbaustudiengang an der PH machen, um später als Berufschullehrerin arbeiten zu können. Das gibt mir wesentlich mehr Perspektiven, als ich es als Sozialpädagogin je haben könnte. Soweit derStand bei uns. Pass auf dich auf und hab auch weiterhin viel Spaß!
